TEACHING NOTES

Each play has three characters: Child, Fairy Godmother, and Granny. In this series you will see little animals here and there. It has long been established that we can remember lessons of behaviour through thinking about our animal friends. Definitions are in the notes that follow the play.

1: A PYRAMID, A PORTAL, A MOUSE, AND A BUNNY, WITH GRANNY, GODMOTHER AND THEIR WAYS WHICH ARE FUNNY. In this play the child is introduced to The Pyramid of True Relationship which has a base foundation of 4 qualities. If a relationship has these 4 qualities, it can work and grow. Without them there is no equality but rather power, or status struggles, which leaves room for bullying, and shaming. This simple paradigm is a great tool that facilitates a child’s dignity and safety.

2: JUST HAVING MY WONDERUFL FABULOUS TEA WITH MY FAIRY GODMOTHER GRANNY AND ME!   Over thousands of years, various philosophies have broken the concept of  Love into categories. Because “Granny” follows the Way of Love, she mentions 6. Each have an easy concept.   Understanding these 6 types of love can libertate and empower a child to think for themselves and make appropriate choices.

3: WHAT HAPPENS IN DEATH? WHERE DO WE GO?  GRANNY PLEASE TELL ME ‘CAUSE I WANT TO KNOW.  The first goal in this play is to alleviate fear around this natural process of life. Death happens to all of us. As a healer Granny holds a working philosophy that facilitates peace, along with healthy living and  grieving skills.
