About Heather Grace Gurd
Retired Practitioner and Teacher of Therapeutic Touch ™ BIO HERE (Please be patient as the link loads).
At age 4 Heather had a near-death experience on the family farm. Returning from “heaven” came with the heightened ability to perceive subtle energies.
In 1977 she started her lifelong practice of yoking body, mind, and spirit (yoga) through movement and meditation.
Heather then began her exploration of consciousness and healing through experience, travel, the study of world religions, philosophies, mythologies, storytelling, psychology, energy healing modalities, mystery schools, sacred geometry, and sacred sites. Along the way she received degrees from University of Waterloo, and Wilfred Laurier in Theatre Arts and Business, as well as an international championship in Improv Comedy Theatre Sports.
By the early 90’s, Therapeutic Touch™ became Heather’s anchoring holistic modality.
Inspired by the success of her presentation on Unity Consciousness: The Higgs Boson, Mary Magdalene and Therapeutic Touch, Heather is currently co-creating a gender neutral, secular program through children’s poetry, music and play. A Trilogy on Love, Relationship, and Death is a presentation designed to illuminate simple, functional paradigms that empower a child in making decisions for the self, releasing confusion, fear, and potential abuse.
